There is an interesting nature scene called tidal bore. According to Wikipedia: 'A tidal bore is a tidal
phenomenon in which the leading edge of the incoming tide forms a wave
(or waves) of water that travels up a river or narrow bay against the
direction of the river or bay's current.'
There are only a few places in the world you can see this phenomenon and one of them is at the River Severn. My husband and I deliberately drove to Gloucester to see this famous bore at the beginning of this month and here is the recording of the bore:
